01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Tucked just off a main road, Sushitetu is a relaxed sushi restaurant where you can drop in without ceremony. The 1 floor has a compact layout, with 6 counter seats and 1 tables, so diners can watch the chef at work up close. The comfortable counter is suited to solo diners, and its easy conversational atmosphere makes it natural to order preferred nigiri and seasonal fish.

At lunchtime, the menu centres on nigiri. Sets offer a good-value way to try a selection of toppings based on the day’s supply, and you can add individual pieces to suit your taste. With carefully prepared fish and well-balanced sushi rice, the restaurant’s Edomae-style craft is just as enjoyable at an easygoing lunch.

In the evening, there are course meals featuring sashimi, small dishes and sushi rolls, to enjoy with sake or wine. The 2 floor has private rooms with sunken seating, useful for a business meal, a celebration or any gathering where guests would like to talk without concern for those around them. Reservations are accepted, making it easy to plan a relaxed evening meal in advance.
